WHY NOT ME? LAUNCH EVENTπŸ™πŸΎπŸ’•πŸŽ‰πŸ₯‚πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ₯°

Look at God, wow I'm just in awe of God's goodness and to God be the gloryπŸ™πŸ½️ He not only gave me strength but a voice that through my story His Name be glorified (Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven). I'm singing a new song of praise because not only has God carried me but He's held my hand through it all and in the midst of it all. God is a God of many chances, He is giving me a second chance, so I’m using my strength, power and might differently now to motivate, encourage and heal other women walking the same journey. God is showing through my story that pain can also be an incredibly powerful force for change, that letting go isn’t losing (sometimes you have to lose to win again) but it’s making room for something new, something better and something bigger. I'm grateful to God that today I stand as a testament that struggle creates strength, pain fuels power, and mistakes lead to miracles. Through God's grace, love and mercy I’m living my philosophy "Let go of what you thought it should be, and be grateful for what it is".

Where do I even begin, God really showed up and showed off on Saturday the 10th of May when I officially launched my blog WHY NOT ME? (Job1:13 - 22). A movement born from pain blossomed into a beautiful story of faith, healing and hope. God is doing a new thing in my life as per the scripture reading from the book of Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desertπŸ™πŸ½

I thank the Lord for my spiritual sisters Mahlodi and Apostle Modiegi. They keep me grounded in the Lord and are constantly holding me accountable for my actions. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the both of you for opening and closing the WHY NOT ME?  event with prayer. Thank you Mahlodi for a beautiful opening prayer blessing the event and Apostle Modiegi, thank you for a beautiful prayer closing and sealing the whole thing with a Word of blessing spoken over all the ladies. It set a beautiful tone for the event and was a wonderful way to start by inviting God into our midst.

God didn’t call me to this journey to break me; He called me to birth a purpose greater than I could have imagined.WHY NOT ME? wasn’t just born from pain, it was built on resilience (Psalm 34:18 - The Lord is near the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit).
I'm grateful for the journey and what I've had to endure because it has shaped the woman that I am today, I hold on to the lessons not the pain. I learned to depend on God more than I ever did before, I learned to trust Him with everything, I learned to forgive and I learned that He is faithful that promised - Hebrews 10:23

I thank God for a forgiving heart because despite everything, I choose forgiveness. I thank my ex-husband because I wouldn't be a vessel of hope should I have not walked this journey with him. God placed him in my life for a purpose, I forgive him because God is a merciful and forgiving God, He forgives me daily and I also extend the same grace to my ex-husband that God so gracefully gives me. Forgiveness is the one thing that nobody really wants to do but we all know that we should. Every day, I wake up and choose to forgive myself first and my ex-husband, not because my ex-husband deserves it, but because I deserve peace. I won’t carry the weight of resentment because honestly, it’s exhausting. God opened my spiritual eyes to see that I am no longer a hostage to my past but that I am now free (John 8:36 - Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed).

I thank God that He was and still is the centre of it all, the event was truly blessed and I am blessed. God truly is faithful, I prayed for a successful launch and that is what God gave me exceedingly abundantly above all I could ever imagine.

I thank God for my sister from another mother and event planner Rose, who took my vision and turned it to reality exceeding all my expectations. I appreciate all that you did to make my dream a reality. I've now added your name to my list of blessings.

I thank God for my children, my pillars of strength. I thank you for cheering me on through the planning and even offering your time to make this crazy dream of mine into a reality and holding my hand through it all. You guys are my biggest blessings to date. A special thank you to Didintle my beautiful pudding for ushering me in with one of my favourite songs, the song that kept me going through my dark hours. And for cheering me on through this journey and reminding me of how strong I am (Psalm 127:3 - Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward).

I thank God for each and every queen that supported me, every queen that still supports this vision and movement. All of you who came through to cheer me on, for your prayers and for honouring the theme.

I thank God for my aunts my pillars, who have carried me and filled the big shoes my mother left. I appreciate and love you guys for all your support, love and prayers through it all. I always say family over everything because when all else fails, they're the only people who will be by your side standing with you and you guys are a true testament of that, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I thank God for my two beautiful sisters, Jessica and Motshidisi. Honestly words fail me, you guys are my biggest cheerleaders showing up for me always through the good, the bad and the ugly. You always believe in me even when I don't believe in myself. When I count my blessings, I count you twice.
